Regarding the proposal of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (BGPPC) to execute the investment project to expand Nhu Nguyet bridge on Hanoi – Bac Giang expressway by the provincial budget, basing on the agreement of the ministries with the proposal, Deputy PM ordered BGPPC to submit document to Department of Construction to proceed the procedures at the fastest manner to ensure the traffic safety to invest in the projects on the national road then report to the PM.

Deputy PM also requested BGPPC to work and finalize with the Department of Construction to review and put the construction project to expand Xuong Giang bridge on Hanoi – Bac Giang expressway and Cam Ly bridge on national road No.37 into the list of project using the Official Development Assistance Capital from Republic of Korea in the period 2023 – 2026.

Currently, the more and more vehicles move on Hanoi – Bac Giang expressway, so Xuong Giang and Nhu Nguyet bridges become traffic block points regularly. To ensure the synchronous exploitation scale, it is necessary to invest in expanding Xuong Giang and Nhu Nguyet bridge.
