Bac Giang strives to create jobs for 32,200 laborers
Striving to complete the proposed plan, since early this year, by grasping the situation of investment attraction, industrial development and laborers’ demand, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has coordinated with localities to proactively develop plans to create jobs with criteria appropriate to each district and city; connect with reputable businesses to organize domestic job introduction and labor export consulting programs.

The Department also directed the Provincial Employment Service Center to innovate and actively conduct digital transformation in operations, improve the quality of transaction sessions to connect supply and demand and meet human resources for businesses.
In 2023, amid the general difficulties caused by the global economic downturn, many businesses had to narrow production and cut workers. However, the whole province still created new jobs for 33,200 workers, accounting for 102.2 percent of the plan. Most of the workers were employed to the fields of garment and electronics with an average income of nearly 7.8 million VND per person per month, an increase of 10 percent compared to the previous year.
