Bac Giang strives to upgrade 3 – 5 OCOP products in 2023
Accordingly, the province strives to upgrade 3 to 5 recognized OCOP products and focuses on developing product with trademark under value chain and local advantages of material, culture and knowledge.

Particularly, specialties, special product and service of craft village and tourism village will be developed in line with circulation economy trend to ensure sustainable ecosystem.
The province also assists to improve the quality, create added value, complete the product to meet the domestic demand while developing strong products for export market and maintaining recognized OCOP products.
This year, Bac Giang targets to have at least 25 products which are rated 3 star and above (each district and city has at least 2 or 3 products); develop at least one product recognized as national 5 star product and two ecotourism service and tourism site.
Total implementation cost of over 6.8 billion VND (286,000 USD) is mobilized from National Target Programme to build new style rural in 2023.
As of 2022, the province had 205 OCOP products rated 3 star and above, including 31 four star products.
