Bac Giang’s students win two silver trophies in team category at Childhood Math Club National Contest 2018.

Accordingly, all candidates in the 12-member delegate pocketed their own single medals, including 1 gold, 4 silvers and 1 bronze for the primary grade as well as another 2 silvers and 4 bronzes for the secondary one. The gold trophy was awarded to Nguyen Thanh Vinh, an excellent student of Tan My primary school.

The contest is an annual event launched by a joint collaboration of the Childhood Mathematics Magazine and Departments of Education and Training in the provinces and cities nationwide since 2005. This year event drew 294 candidates from 20 province and cities across the country.

Participating in the contest, the students have to deal with math in English both in single and team categories; thus requiring them to firmly grasp the subjects’ knowledge and co-work for a quick solution targeting at an accurate answer for the questions raised by the organization board.
