Bac Giang supports businesses in stabilising workforce
BAC GIANG – To meet production demands, many enterprises in Bac Giang province are recruiting large numbers of workers with attractive incentive policies. In the face of intense labour market competition, various departments and agencies are actively coordinating efforts to implement solutions that support and promote labour attraction for businesses.

The company employs approximately 44,500 workers, ranking among the top employers in the province. To meet production needs, in 2025, it plans to recruit around 40,000 additional workers, primarily unskilled. In the second quarter alone, over 10,000 new hires are targeted.
According to Hoang Thi Thuy, head of the company’s recruitment unit, the firm employs multiple recruitment channels, including direct hiring, social media outreach, and partnerships with labour supply agencies inside and outside the province.
Notably, in April and May, employees are encouraged to refer friends and family members for employment, with a referral bonus of 3 million VND (116 USD) per person.
New applicants receive an immediate bonus of 500,000 VND each. To attract workers, from March 1, 2025, the company raised the base monthly salary for workers from 5.1 million VND to 5.5 million VND.
Additional monthly allowances include housing (500,000 VND), transportation (300,000 VND), attendance (300,000 VND), and seniority (200,000–500,000 VND).
Meal allowances are currently set at 19,000 VND per lunch or dinner and 7,000 VND per breakfast. Moreover, workers who complete two hours of overtime daily receive a bonus of 0.5 extra hours counted towards their end-of-month overtime pay.
Onechang Vina Co., Ltd. (based in Bac Giang city) currently employs nearly 500 workers. To proactively manage production in response to export garment orders, the company is looking to hire 200–300 additional workers, offering a monthly income commitment ranging from 8–18 million VND.
The only requirements are good health and age between 18 and 40, regardless of gender. Besides wages, workers receive other benefits such as transportation, child care, seniority and meal allowances, attendance bonuses, and productivity incentives.
All new hires without skills are trained for free after signing employment contracts. Currently, most garment businesses are struggling to recruit workers, so their leadership has introduced attractive incentives, such as new hire bonuses of up to 12 million VND (based on skill level) and referral bonuses of 3 million VND per new recruit.
According to the provincial Department of Home Affairs, there are currently 9,600 businesses operating across the province, creating jobs for 342,000 workers.
In 2025, businesses are expected to recruit nearly 120,000 workers. On average, during the 2025–2030 period, about 95,000 workers per year will be needed.
The main industries and fields in need of workers include mechanical engineering, machine manufacturing, production equipment, component and electronic device manufacturing, industrial electronics, and garment and textile production.

Currently, workers in the province come from 30 provinces and cities across the country.
To meet the human resource needs for industrial development amid increasingly fierce labour competition, on April 21, the Department of Home Affairs issued a plan to promote and attract workers to local businesses.
Accordingly, starting from May, the department plans to establish four working groups to promote labour recruitment in several provinces and universities with demand for jobs in Bac Giang.
At the same time, it will focus on organising direct and online job exchange sessions, and enhancing recruitment information connections with businesses.
