Bac Giang supports enterprises to recruit workers at the end of the year
Recently, many companies have recovered operation and expanded production yielding big demand for worker recruitment. According to the statistics by the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the enterprises in the province demand for over 70,000 workers in the last 5 months 2023, mainly FDI companies in the industrial parks (IPs) and big garment and electronic corporations.

Particularly, Hon Hai Technology Group, Luxshare ICT Company Limited, New wing Interconnect Technology Bac Giang Company Limited, Lens Technology Company Limited and CE Link Vietnam Company Limited have big recruitment demand.
Facing this situation, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee issued a direction in August to competent agencies and localities to focus on taking measures to support enterprises in labour recruitment to meet the demand.
The provincial Chairman requested the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to collaborate with related agencies and localities to grasp the recruitment demand to widely communicate to local people. Besides, the Department was urged to disseminate information about labour supply to investors and enterprises for appropriate recruitment plans.
Since August, the enterprises in entire province have recruited over 20,000 workers. The biggest employers are New Wing Interconnect Technology Bac Giang Company Limited, Crystal Martin Company Limited, Luxshare ICT Company Limited and Hon Hai Technology Group.
The provincial Employment Service Center has increased the number of direct, online and mobile job transactions. Recently, the Center organized an in-person and virtual job transaction session connecting to 15 northern provinces and cities to supply workers for enterprises.
Besides, the provincial Association Manpower Supply and Employment was established to foster collaboration and connection among units to introduce and supply human resources. The Association has collaborated with the provincial Industrial Zones Authority and local government to grasp recruitment demand of each enterprise and sign recruitment contracts with enterprises with specific provisions for stable labour cost and salary rate to protect rights of labourers.
In addition, the Association facilitates in paper work to introduce its members to northern provinces especially high and mountainous provinces with abundant labour force for recruitment.
In line with the support and connection by all-level government and competent agencies, many enterprises have renewed recruitment methods. Thanks to good measures, enterprises in the province has recruited more than 20,000 workers since August.
