Bac Giang supports to bring farm produce on e-commerce platform

(BGO) – So far, more than 1,640 farmer households in Bac Giang province have been supported to bring farm produce on e-commerce platforms .

Particularly, all levels of provincial Farmers’ Association cooperate with provincial Post to assist 1,560 households, Department of Industry and Trade helps 84 cooperatives and families to bring farm produce, processing product and products under One Commune Once Product Programme on Postmart.vn.

Thus, thousands of tonnes of commodities have been sold, helping accelerate digital transformation in rural area and agriculture sector.

At the same time, the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union joined hands with e-commerce platform Lazada and FoodMap to introduce, promote and consume Bac Giang agriculture products to domestic and foreign markets.

Meanwhile, the Department of Industry and Trade provides training course on e-commerce to the cooperatives and farmer households so as to guide them to promote, introduce and sell goods via livestream on multi digital platforms such as Tiktok, Zalo…with highest effectiveness.
