Implementing direction of the provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Health, the Center has launched a peak campaign since May 27 to give the additional booster vaccine doses for workers. To date, more than 153,300 workers in the IPs have been provided second booster of Covid-19 vaccine, reaching 88.3 percent of total working labour.

The Industrial Park Medical Center in Bac Giang province vaccinates 1,700 workers of Fuyu Precision Technology Company Limited in the morning of August 16.

A number of enterprises have high rate of workers getting second booster vaccine shot such as Newwing Interconnect Technology Company Limited in Van Trung IP (92.7 percent), Hana Micron Vina Company Limited in Van Trung IP (92 percent), Hosiden Vietnam Company Limited in Quang Chau IP (91.5 percent) and Fuhong Precision Component Company Limited in Dinh Tram IP (91 percent).

In order to gain that result, the Center has reinforced its human resources to fulfill the duty. To facilitate enterprises in arranging injection points, the Center has closely collaborated with the provincial Industrial Zones Authority to review the number of registrations, build detailed plan and arrange time of injection based on working shifts. Besides, on-duty staff is appointed to the fix injection point at the Center in every Tuesday and Thursday to vaccinate workers on night shift and new labours from other localities.

Currently, there are nearly 400 enterprises operating in the IPs in the entire province creating jobs for more than 173,700 workers. The Center will grasp production situation of the enterprises and continue collaborating with the provincial Industrial Zones Authority to administer vaccination, striving to reach 100 percent of the workers meeting conditions to receive second booster vaccine shots by the end of August.

Four more vaccines to be included in Expanded Immunisation Programme

Vietnam will use four more vaccines in the Expanded Immunisation Programme for the 2021-2030 period under Resolution No.104 of the Government on the roadmap to increase the diversity of vaccines in the programme signed by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam on August 15.

71 percent of IP workers receive second booster of Covid-19 vaccine

Over 40 million people granted Covid-19 vaccine passports

More than 40 million people nationwide had held Covid-19 vaccine passports as of July 20, according to the Ministry of Health’s Electronic Health Administration.
