Accordingly, the cases include Bac Giang citizens (whose families and relatives are residing permanently in Bac Giang province) now lodging, residing and working in HCMC, Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces with demand to return to the homeland due to epidemic serious impact. These persons must show negative test result to Covid-19 within 48 hours till the departing time to hometown.

The priority cases are critically ill persons, pregnant women or those raising children less than 36 month old, the elderly above 70 year old, people with disabilities, labour with expired contract and special difficulties, citizens under social distancing condition at these localities and other speical cases reviewed and verified by the Bac Giang Association of Fellowmen in HCMC (BGAF).

About 500 citizens will be picked up in the first period from August 25 to September 15, 2021 by train. The picked up location is at Sai Gon station in HCMC (address: No 1, Nguyen Thong street, ward 9, district 3, HCMC).

All the costs of ticket and meals will be supported by sponsor businesses, kind hearted people and Bac Giang provincial budget. In case the citizens wish to travel by air, they will pay themselves for all the cost, register and get approval from the BGAF.

Depending on specific condition, Bac Giang province will consider to arrange pick up vehicle at Noi Bai International Airport then take them to the centralized quarantine sites of the districts and city.

Basing on the pandemic situation, social isolation measures and citizens’ expectation as registration to the BGAF as well as the actual situation at the province, the People’s Committee in the districts and city should review, verify and make the list to report to the provincial People’s Committee to summarize and consider to organize next reception.

The pick up vehicles by air and train are up to registration of citizen. The pick up location will be announced later after finalizing with the BGAF.

All citizens returning from HCMC and Southern provinces must be quarantined at centralized sites of the districts and city in 14 days and self isolation at home in 7 days after that. All arising costs will be paid by the citizens.
