Job and boarding-house “ATMs” to support workers amid pandemic

The Youth Social Work Centre under the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee will launch two programmes - “Community-based Job ATMs” and “Community-based boarding-house ATMs to support workers who are living in difficulty in Ho Chi Minh City.

These are two new initiatives promoted by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee while Ho Chi Minh City will continue to apply social distancing under Prime Minister’s Directive No.16 until the end of September 15.

The two programmes will act as "dual" bridges between workers and employers and between employees and community boarding-houses.
