The martial artists vied for 78 sets of medals in 32 performance and 46 combat categories at 3 age groups of 12 - 15 years old, 16 - 18 years old and 19-21 years old.

Martial artist Nguyen Quang Duy (podium No.1) is awarded gold medal at the championships.

The athlete at the age of 12 - 15 competed at 8 performance and 16 combat weight groups (8 female and 8 male); the age group of 16 - 18 competed at 16 performance and 22 combat weight groups (12 male and 10 female) while the age group of 19 - 21 competed at 8 performance and 8 combat weight groups (4 male and 4 female).

12 players in Bac Giang province joined 11 categories at the event. With high determination, the martial artists won 1 gold medal (Nguyen Quang Duy at men’s 60kg and 16-18 age group), 1 silver and 2 bronze medals to rank 20 out of 36.

It is an encouraging result for local Vovinam because this game has newly introduced to the training system at the provincial Sports Training and Competition Center.
