Bac Giang wins 9 medals at national teenager badminton championships

(BGO) – The National Teenager Badminton Championships 2018
for all groups of ages was organized in Da Nang city on June 5 – 11, attracting
nearly 500 young players from 38 provinces and cities across the nation.

The Bac Giang province assigned 31 athletes to participate in the tourney and vie for medals in such categories of men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mix doubles in the age groups from U10 to U17.
With the uniform players and excellent performances, Bac Giang team totally bagged 2 golds, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes, particularly the gold trophies were awarded to women’s doubles of Van Anh – Ngoc Lan (U17) and mix doubles of Quoc Khanh – Huong Giang (U13).
Thanks to the outstanding achievement, the province ranked third after Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi cities.
