13 members of Bac Giang art troop in provincial Culture and Cinema Center played three performances of “Ve mien Kinh Bac or Returning to Kinh Bac land” (Team dance), “Ganh or Carrying” (Mixed dance), “Tieng chuong ban Dao or The Bell from hamlet of Dao ethnic people” (Team dance) to show unique cultural identities of Kinh Bac region and Dao ethnic people in Bac Giang province.

The “Tieng chuong ban Dao” dance is awarded gold medal at the festival.

Concluding the festival, Bac Giang team won overall silver medal, gold medal for “Tieng chuong ban Dao” dance and silver medal for “Ganh” dance.

The event drew artisans, actors and actresses from art troops, culture and cinema centers of 27 provinces and cities to perform folk, traditional and contemporary dances.

The “Ganh” mixed dance wins silver medal.

More than 100 dancing performances were played at the festival under diverse forms to show love for country, desire for good life as well as solidarity among the peoples.

The festival was held to preserve and promote the outstanding folk dance of ethnic minority groups across the nation; honor the beauty and diversity of the folk dancing art in harmonious combination of tradition and modern features.
