Previously, the investor – Bac Giang provincial Management Board of Industrial and Civil Building Investment Project launched an engineering contest to select optimal option to build the Center as a highlight on architect and landscape in the city and province. It drew the participation from eight candidates in the country.

Two options of flag symbol (LS21 designed by Consortium of Bac Giang Construction Investment Consultation Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Construction Verification and Consultation Joint Stock Company) and phoenix symbol (AX01 designed by Viet Bach Architect Joint Stock Company) were awarded first prize and highly appreciated by professional experts.

The investor adjusted, completed two prized designs then asked for comment from experts and people so as to select the one with higher consensus for implementation.

AX01 design bears a concept of a flying phoenix that symbolizes Bac Giang province on the development process. The Center will be built next to provincial Gymnasium with the design of a turtle. A river bearing the shape of a dragon was located in front of the buildings which meant “four sacred”.

Currently, the investor is completing the necessary condition to commence the project in the four quarter of this year. It will be constructed in Dinh Ke ward and Dinh Tri commune (Bac Giang city) with total area of over 13,000 square meters and cost of nearly 550 billion VND from provincial budget.

It is expected to be completed in 2024.
