Free ecotourism site in Bac Giang Agriculture Forestry University lure youngsters

(BGO) - On summer, the BAFU Flower Garden covering nearly two ha at Bac Giang Agriculture Forestry University (BAFU) in Viet Yen district is in full blossom with many flowers of rose, sun flower, lotus and others. It becomes an attractive destination, especially to youngsters. The garden opens all days in the week to welcome visitors without any charge.

Ngo Duc Tuan, Vice Director of Environmental Eco and Educational Service Center (Center) at BAFU said BAFU assigned th Center to manage the flower garden. It attracts about 300 to 500 tourist arrivals per day. More visitors flock to the site on weekend and holiday.

The flower garden is located inside the ecotourism site of BAFU which was recognized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in November 2021. BAFU will launch a ceremony to open the tourism site on April 17.

Covering total area of nearly 30 ha with diverse experimental services, visitors can imerge themselves with nature at the site. BAFU has prepared small homestay service to serve the accommodation demand. Apart from the flower garden, the ecotourism site has three ha stork garden with 10,000 birds of 15 rare types, 2.5 ha fruit orchard and nine ha lake for fishing service.

Moreover, the lotus lake of nearly one ha is coming to its blossom season around the flower and fruit gardens, which will bring amazing experiences for tourists, especially on upcoming Reunification Day and May Day.
