Bac Giang wins third prize at national food festival

(BGO) – The National Food Festival was organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism from September 28 to October 1 in the northern province of Quang Ninh, drawing 70 pavillions from the provinces and cities across the nation.

Bac Giang provincial booth was set up by the Center of Information and Tourism Promotion (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to showcase and introduce some typical traditional culinary products such as Yen The hill chicken, Ke rice cracker, Chu rice noodle, Van wine, Ban Ven green tea among others.

Thanks to the unique identity of the dishes in an eye-catching and exquisite preparation, the culinary cultural booth of Bac Giang province attracted numerous visitors and won the third prize at the festival.

On the occasion, the Center exhibited and promoted the image of the Bac Giang’s land and people via the leaflets, flyers, books and photos about local tourism destinations.

Yen The develops hill chicken under value chain

(BGO) – Though Yen The district is home to a huge herd of chicken with protected trademark, the products’ fluctuating consumption still makes the breeders worried. Currently, the Bac Giang provincial authority has joined hand with the locals to deploy the solutions, in which, pay attention to linkage and output stabilization.

(BGO) – The Chu rice noodle of Hiep Phuc Production, Trade and Consumption Cooperative of Chu Rice Noodle (Cooperative) in Nam Duong commune, Luc Nam district (Bac Giang province) has been stamped for origin traceability since late 2017, affirming its quality, trademark and increasing the production efficiency as well.
