Bac Giang women save more than 41 billion VND to help impoverished members
BAC GIANG - After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress and the Resolution of the 16th Bac Giang Provincial Women's Congress, term 2021 - 2026, the movement “ Women save to help each other develop the economy in Bac Giang province” has achieved many positive results.
The association at all levels has launched many activities for women members such as seminars, thematic talks, experience sharing, exchanges and knowledge learning as well as built and widespread many models of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh like "Women save, collect waste, join hands to protect the environment"; "Green savings", "Savings tube", "Savings jar", "Golden heart fund" and "Warm clothes for children" among others.

Through these above mentioned movements, the Women's Unions at all levels in the province have saved more than 41 billion VND (about 1.78 million USD) and 52.6 tonnes of rice to help nearly 20,000 members, women and children in difficult circumstances. Some localities with strong development movements include Hiep Hoa, Tan Yen, Son Dong, Lang Giang.
The models contribute to forming awareness and daily savings habits, arousing solidarity, helping women have more opportunities to exchange and share experiences.
From the savings models of members, the Women's Union at all levels has supported many impoverished cases to improve their lives, contributing to the good implementation of social security work in the locality.
BAC GIANG - Since the beginning of the year, Bac Giang province has attracted more than 2.2 million tourists, increasing 45% over the same period last year, reaching nearly 90% of the yearly plan, reported the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
