Bac Giang works towards comprehensive digital transformation
Currently, Bac Giang province has 1,757 online public services, of which 951 are fully implemented and 806 are partially handled on the provincial information system for handling administrative procedures. This is a favorable condition for processing documents in the electronic environment.

Since January 1, 2023, at the center, 217 administrative procedures have followed the process of "digitally signing, electronically transferring, printing results, sealing and returning results".
Performing its tasks, the center has cooperated with relevant agencies to well prepare for implementing the procedures in the cyber space. It has promoted communications and guided citizens how to perform online public services and make online payments.
The center has also invested in equipment to ensure information security, digitize documents and reuse the results of document digitization; upgraded the internal network; and installed free wifi. It has simultaneously urged relevant departments and agencies to engrave a second seal and prepare color printers.
Now, the departments and agencies completely implementing procedures in the electronic environment have issued a second seal and assigned one-stop-shop (OSS) civil servants to manage, seal and return the results right at the center. Since the beginning of the year, the center has received more than 5,000 dossiers, which were completely processed online. As a result, OSS officers do not have to send documents and return paper results, helping reduce their workload and time, and increase labor productivity.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has 40 procedures that are completely processed electronically. In order to best serve the people, the department has appointed two officers on duty, regularly guiding citizens to submit applications through the provincial Public Service Portal. At the same time, it has organized training courses to improve knowledge, professional skills and sense of responsibility for staff members while performing tasks.
After many times being guided by the staff of the provincial Public Administration Service Center, Nguyen Thi Lan from Song Mai commune, Bac Giang city knew how to use her account on the provincial Public Service Portal. Recently, she submitted the application for "correction of information on the investment registration certificate" online.
Very quickly, she received the results in the electronic version and the sealed hard copy by post without going to the center. “This is very convenient. It was difficult at first but after a few uses, I know how to do it," said Lan.
