Bac Giang’s athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh breaks SEA Games record at 3000 meter steeplechase event

(BGO) – At 16h30 (Vietnam time) on December 10, track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh (Bac Giang province) excellently won the gold medal at 3000 meter steeplechase event with an achievement of 10 minutes two milliseconds at the ongoing 30th SEA Games.  
The result helped Oanh break the Sea Games record and win the second gold medal at the regional sports event.

Previously, the Bac Giang born athlete won a gold at her forte of 5000 meter run on the morning of December 10 with the achievement of 16 minutes 45 seconds 98 and a gold at 1500 meter run with result of 4 minutes 17 seconds 35 on December 8.
