Of which, the revenue from land use is 5.140 trillion VND (221.8 million USD) and the rest come from other taxes and fees. Many of the 16 revenues exceed the plan such as land lease fee, non-agricultural land use tax, revenue from local state-owned enterprises, revenue from dividend and after-tax profits, off-budget revenues and communes’ revenues.

Despite the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the local taxation sector has closely collaborated with the districts and city to pay high attention to tax collection and implement drastic solutions for debt repayment.

Besides, they have made effective use of the revenue sources and stepped up measures against revenue losses in the fields of land, natural resources, minerals, e-commerce, online trading, real estate business and personal property lease.

The sector also did a good job of disseminating tax policies and tax-related administrative procedures while promptly honoring organizations and individuals who excellently fulfilled tax obligations.

Room to grow for VN-India trade
