Bac Giang’s lychee enjoys high flowering rate
To timely prevent the worm and disease without causing impact on the lychee quality, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, districts and city directed and guide farmers to inspect and forecast the common diseases then encourage them to use plant protection product only in really needy case.

Besides, the farmers are recommended to make cultivation record to ensure the origin traceability; strictly follow VietGAP, GlobalGAP and organic production procedure to enhance value and economic efficiency as well as prepare condition for lychee export.
At the same time, the competent agency has inspected and supervised 178 growing area codes on total area of 16,696 hectares which meet the export standard; maintained 215 qualified packaging facilities to export to China and one facility to Japan.
The agriculture sector was urged to review, check and propose the Plant Protection Department to issue 4 more growing area codes on over 43 hectares in Tan Yen district which satisfy the export standard for Australia and the US.
