BAC GIANG - The northern province of Bac Giang is not only famous for beauty landscapes and attractive destination but also diverse local specialties. 

Luc Ngan lychee

Among Bac Giang’s specialties, it is impossible not to mention Luc Ngan lychee. This fruit is most grown in Luc Ngan district. A ripe lychee with red and thin peel, small seed and thick pulp and special sweet taste will fascinate you when you visit Bac Giang. Apart from fresh lychee, dried lychee is made to preserve the original flavour and special sweet.

Banh da Tho Ha (Tho Ha dry pancake)

Banh da Tho Ha is a must-try dish when coming to Bac Giang. Its flavor is distinct from that in other localities because it is made with traditional secret formula and carefully selected fresh ingredients. There are 2 types of Banh da Tho Ha including rice paper and baked pancake. Baked pancake is yellowish-brown and crispy with fragrant peanut and sesame. Rice paper is ivory white, soft and tasty which is widely fancied.

Yen The hill chicken
