(BGO) - To prepare
for this year lychee harvest season, 43 businesses and traders have registered
to consume lychee at domestic market, reported the Division of Economy and
Infrastructure in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province).
Particularly, five companies and 38 individuals have registered to buy estimated quantity of 36,800 tonnes of lychee to sell at Southern localities, Hanoi city and adjacent provinces.

An Nhu Import and Export Trading Company Limited in Giap Son commune (Luc Ngan district) plans to buy 500 tonnes of fresh lychee to sell domestically.

The weighting points are mostly placed at Chu town and communes alongside the national road No.31 like Phuong Son, Quy Son, Tru Huu, Hong Giang, Giap Son, Tan Quang and Phi Dien.
Thanks to favorable weather condition this year, Luc Ngan district competent agencies forecast to yield higher lychee quantity of over 95,000 tonnes as well as better quality than previous year.
To date, the district People’s Committee has prepared programme to consume nearly 75,500 tonnes of fresh lychee, including 37,000 tonnes at domestic market while the remaining quantity is for drying, industrial processing and frozen preserving.
Head of Luc Ngan district Division of Economy and Infrastructure Le Tuan Anh said: “Local lychee will be harvested from May 25 to July 30. To support registered businesses and individuals, we create best condition in term of procedure and document relating to buying and consuming activities while ordering utility vendors to sell products at proper price”.

Bac Giang inks agreement to export Luc Ngan lychee to Europe

Hai commune, Viet France Agriculture Land Joint Stock Company (VFAL) has inked
cooperative agreement with three lychee cooperatives and collectives in the
communes of Thanh Hai, Quy Son and Tan Son (Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang
province) to supply and consume Luc Ngan lychee to Europe in 2022.
Tan Yen produces safe lychee to ease consumption
(BGO) - This
year, Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) expects another bumper lychee harvest
season. Preparing to export special fruit to foreign countries, the competent
agencies and people in the district have focused on producing safe lychee
and enhancing its quality.
Introducing Bac Giang lychee to US market

Giang expects to have a bumper lychee harvest this year but the consumption
seems to encounter a lot of difficulties. The province has renovated the trade
promotion event to suit current situation, especially to bring lychee to new
market, including the US.
Businesses and cooperatives link to consume lychee
(BGO) – Since middle of March at the
flowering and fruit bearing stages of lychee, many domestic and foreign
cooperatives and businesses have connected to orchard owners and contactors in
Bac Giang province to seek way of lychee consumption. Support plans have been
issued locally toward the most smooth lychee consumption.
