Capital mobilization of commercial banks up 17 trillion VND

BAC GIANG- According to the provincial State Bank, the commercial banks in the province have mobilized nearly 103 trillion VND (4.24 billion USD), up 17 trillion VND (700 million USD) compared to 31 December last year.

Some banks have high mobilized capital such as: Bac Giang provincial branch and Bac Giang branch 2 of Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam Bac Giang Branch, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam Bac Giang Branch...

This result was achieved thanks to high attention of the commercial banks to implementing a number of capital mobilization measures. Besides, they have applied many methods to approach customers especially some promotional programmes such as lucky draw for customers depositing money and increased capital mobilization interest rates at certain time to encourage customers to deposit money.

From the mobilized capital, the commercial banks have so far disbursed nearly 90 trillion VND to organizations and businesses as loans for promoting production and business activities and increasing revenues.
