This is the 3rd consecutive year Chinese Embassy has awarded scholarships to the students in the localities of Bac Giang province where the Chinese Volunteer Martyrs' Cemeteries are located.
This year, the Embassy did not organize award ceremony due to Covid-19 pandemic but they transferred the scholarships to the schools’ bank accounts to hand over to the students.
The Division of Education and Training of Lang Giang and Son Dong districts held scholarship award ceremonies for the students of right beneficiaries.
Bac Giang’s student wins third prize at Vietnam Quintessence contest
(BGO) – Student Nguyen Duc Trung at Ethnic Drama Faculty, Hanoi
Academy of Theatre and Cinema who was born in Song Mai commune, Bac Giang city,
Bac Giang province has won third prize at Vietnam Quintessense video making
contest launched by the Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for his work “Returning
to the land of Quan ho”.
Bac Giang students stop going to school but keep studying amid Covid-19 pandemic
(BGO) – For ten days from October 26 to
November 4, Covid-19 pandemic has outbroken at several localities in Bac Giang
province including schools with severe impact on teaching and studying activities.
The local authorities and educational sector have implemented various measures
to reduce the consequences on the students.
Nearly 500 million VND and 856 devices donated to support impoverished students’ online studying
(BGO) – In response of “Internet
and computers for students” Programme launched by the Prime Minister, as of
October 31, the Division of Education and Training in the districts and city,
educational establishments under the Department of Education and Training and
the Trade Union in the educational sector in Bac Giang province called for
donation of nearly 500 million VND (22,100 USD) and 856 online studying devices
to present to disadvantaged students.
