The Vietnamese Government issued Resolution No.32/NQ-CP on March 15 to waive entry visa requirements for foreign citizens entering the country from 13 nations.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Thursday has called for reviving the visa exemption policy for tourists from 24 countries that was in force before the pandemic.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has asked the government to consider resuming unilateral visa exemptions for 24 countries that had enjoyed the policy prior to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Ministry of Health said Wednesday foreigners entering Vietnam only need to furnish a negative Covid-19 test certificate and are not required to quarantine.

The government has agreed to reopen inbound and outbound tourism from March 15 under new normal conditions.
