Cultural heritage of Cao Lan and San Chi ethnic groups exhibited
Implementing a project on preserving and promoting fine traditions of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development under the National Target Program for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Bac Giang province, in the 2021-2030 period, the Provincial Museum has surveyed, collected and archived traditional cultural heritage types of Cao Lan and San Chi ethnic people in the province.

Through the survey, the Provincial Museum conducted an inventory in 22 communes, 55 villages and hamlets in the districts of Yen The, Luc Nam, Luc Ngan and Son Dong, collected and stored nearly 800 images, documents and 100 artifacts including tools and unique traditional costumes in the daily life, beliefs, and rituals of the Cao Lan and San Chi ethnic people.

The unit selected to display more than 300 photos introducing typical types of heritage, nearly 100 artifacts collected by Cao Lan and San Chi people. Meanwhile, the event featured performances of folk songs and dances for pumper harvest of the San Chi ethnic group, traditional crafts (weaving, hand embroidery, do paper making) of the Cao Lan ethnic group among others.

At the same time, the Provincial Museum organized a number of folk games and instructed students to wear traditional costumes of the two ethnic groups.
