E-invoice applied at more than 3,600 businesses and economic organizations in Bac Giang

(BGO) - Under the direction of the Government and Ministry of Finance on applying electronic invoice (e-invoice) for enterprises, economic organizations, household businesses and individuals in 57 centrally-run provinces and cities, since April, the taxation department of Bac Giang province has highly focused on training, communicating and instructing tax payers to change from paper invoice to e-invoice as Circular No 78/2021 of the Ministry of Finance.

According to the provincial Taxation Department, 8,913 companies in the province are subject to this task. So far, 3,661 enterprises and economic organizations have used e-invoice, accounting for nearly 42 percent of total cases.

The provincial Taxation Department has directed competent agencies, Taxation Division in the districts and city to focus on guiding other cases to promptly change to use e-invoice so as to complete before June 30, 2022. Besides, the provincial Taxation Department directed 201 out of 1,350 business households and individuals to use e-invoice.

To facilitate smooth application of e-invoice, the provincial Taxation Department set up Steering Board and Management Center to assist the task implementation at the provincial taxation Department. Official at the Center is in charge of monitoring and supervising operation of e-invoice system to ensure stable and continuous operation, timely seize the difficulties and obstacles to handle during implementation.

The provincial Taxation Department issued document to announce some regulations on e-invoice to tax payers. Recently, the Department has worked with software suppliers to urge them realize solutions to prepare information technology infrastructure meeting requirements for e-invoice supply to tax payers.
