Early lychees sold at high price

(BGO) – The early ripen lychees in Tan Yen and Luc Ngan districts
in Bac Giang province are enjoying good consumption with high selling price. As
of June 1, the fruits were sold at 40,000 VND (1.72 USD) per kilogram in Phuc
Hoa commune (Tan Yen district) and 60,000
VND (2.57 USD) per kilogram in Luc Ngan district.
Director of Phuc Hoa Cooperative for Production and Consumption of Early Ripen Lychee Nguyen Van Thiet said currently 97 pecent of early lychee in Phuc Hoa commune has been sold and tradesmen are moving to buy the fruits in Luc Ngan district.

These days, vibrant activities relating to lychee consumption occur in Bac Giang province with over 500 weighting points, nearly 1,000 tradesmen, in which about 200 Chinese ones regularly present at the localities to buy the fruits.
The selling price is estimated to be further increase in the upcoming time because of high purchasing demand and good quality.

the delegates from the Guangxi Deparment of Commerce and Ping xiang city (China)
led by Vice Mayor of Pingxiang city Qin Wenji.

Committee of Bac Giang province, in coordination with the Pingxiang People's
Government, organised a conference to promote lychee consumption and introduce Bac
Giang province’s cultural, tourist and agricultural products in 2019.

consumption and promotion for the cultural, tourism and agricultural products of
Bac Giang in Pingxiang on 24 May.

for the early ripen lychee in the key cultivation areas in the districts of Tan
Yen, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Lang Giang…in the northern province of Bac Giang for
nearly one week. The fruits enjoy good consumption and high selling price,
particularly VietGAP lychee are sold at minimum prize of 35,000 VND (1.5 USD)
per kilogram.

Japanese working delegation of JCFA led by Kakou on May 20 surveyed the actual
production procedure and piloted the delivery of preservation technology of
fresh lychee in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province.
