The district has also focused on popularizing and promoting the collection of Buddhist woodblocks at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, which was recognized as World Documentary Heritage in the Memory of the World Program in Asia-Pacific region. Many historical monuments and artistic architectures in the pagoda have been recognized as special national relic sites and the pagoda’s festival has become a national intangible cultural heritage.

For eco-resort and sport-entertainment tourism, the district has continued to encourage investment in developing tourist attractions such as Non Vua mountain area under the Truc Lam Phuong Hoang (Phoenix) Zen Monastery complex; Yen Dung golf course and service area; and Bombax ceiba tree at Ba Co shrine in Lang Son commune.

In order to build products for tourism development, the district People's Committee has focused on restoring, developing and promoting local signature products. With the above three types of tourism, since 2021, the district has welcomed about 422,500 visitors, reaching 84.5% of the plan. Revenue from tourism services hit 102.4 billion VND (4.35 million USD), or 89% of the plan set for the period.

Nguyen Huu Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the district People's Committee, said following the goals and tasks set in the Resolution of the district Party Committee, Yen Dung district has set new orientations to help local tourism take off in the coming time.

Accordingly, there are two main directions. The first is developing tourism associated with historical and cultural relics. The locality is closely coordinating with departments, agencies and localities to perfect the planning of internal and external transport networks, and base on that to balance investment resources.

It will implement works according to the master plan on conservation and promotion of the value of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda special national relic site; focus on expanding the space, embellishing the landscape, effectively exploiting and promoting the spiritual, historical, architectural and artistic values of the pagoda. The district will also improve the quality of tourist services and make products at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and Tay Yen Tu typical for cultural - spiritual tourism.

The second is developing green and ecological tourism. Yen Dung will continue to zone off large production areas in Nham Bien township (Thang Cuong area) and Lang Son commune; call on businesses to invest in developing clean and ecological agriculture in association with experience tourism.

It plans to form and deploy experience tours to discover the beauty of Nham Bien mountain range, conquer the legendary Non Vua peak and contemplate Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Zen Monastery - Kem Pagoda tourist site. The district will connect tourist areas with those in neighboring localities, prioritizing spiritual-ecological tourist destinations such as Tay Yen Tu and Mo Spring (Bac Giang); and Con Son - Kiep Bac (Hai Duong).
