Exhibition honours Vietnamese women in national defence and development

An exhibition highlighting Vietnamese women’s role in the national defence and development opened at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi on October 15.
It is part of the activities to mark the respective 75th and 89th founding anniversaries of the People’s Army and the Vietnam Women’s Union.

Featuring nearly 300 documents, images and items, the event aims to honour women’s contributions and raise awareness among the armed forces and people, particularly youths, on Vietnam’s revolutionary tradition and patriotism.
The exhibition is held following different topics – Vietnamese heroines in history, and Vietnamese women in the country’s struggles for independence against French and American armies, as well as in national building and protection amid the modern context.
Visitors can attend the event until November 20.
A photo exhibition entitled "Vietnam – an eternal attraction" opened in Mexico City, Mexico on September 12 to introduce the wonderful charm of the Vietnamese land and people to Mexicans and international friends.
A range of artworks featuring President Ho Chi Minh by 39 prominent Vietnamese painters and sculptors are being displayed at an exhibition that opened in Hanoi on August 30.
Ahn Jun Mo’s exhibition titled “Become a Butterfly” is held at the Korean Cultural Center in Hanoi from August 21 to September 14.
An exhibition entitled ‘Uncle Ho’s Testament – A source in lighting the way’ opened at the Vietnam Military History Museum on August 14.
Over 100 photos featuring nature and the cultural identities of all ethnic groups in Vietnam will be on display at an exhibition held in the south-central coastal province of Phu Yen from August 18-21.
