They were the first batches of cargo to perform the import-export procedures through Lao Cai Border Gate in the 2020 Lunar New Year. The functional forces there created favourable conditions for the prompt clearance of the goods.

The first batches of agro-products are being exported to China through the Lao Cai International Border Gate on the early days of the Lunar New Year 2020.

The products were worth more than VND20 billion (US$862,900) in total, mainly featuring dragon fruit, jackfruit, watermelon, mango and rambutan which originated from central and southern provinces.

In addition, the customs agency performed procedures for the import of 24 tonnes of grapes from China into Vietnam.

As shown in statistics, the customs branch at Lao Cai Border Gate served 502 businesses with total import-export turnover of over US$1.5 billion in 2019.

Bac Giang: Many batches of commodities exported on first days of 2020

(BGO) – The leader of Bac Giang Import Export Joint Stock Company (Company) has informed that 62,000 tonnes of tissue and 59,000 boxes of Posy paper were exported to the markets of Thailand, Republic of Korea with total value of 100,000 USD from January 1 – 9, 2020. 

Wood processing industry targets 20 billion USD in export by 2025

With the current good growth, the wood processing industry will achieve its export goal of 20 billion USD by 2025, said Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong at a working session with the Vietnam Timber and Forest Product Association (VIFORES) in Hanoi on January 9.
