The event is part of activities responding to the National Tourism Year, promoting Mong Cai’s tourism and marking the 132nd birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.

A wide variety of activities by ethnic minority people will be held during the festival.

The festival aims to create a new tourism product in association with the development of community-based tourism in Hai Son commune, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic minority groups in Mong Cai city.

The activities within the festival will be held in several tourist areas of Hai Son commune such as the communal cultural and sports centre, Po Hen martyrs’ Monument, Border marker 1347, Ho Dang hamlet, Po Hen village, Than Phu Xa village, rose myrtle hill and Panai mountain peak.

The festival will also feature various attractive activities including the Po Hen rural market, sports exchanges and folk games.

Series of tourism festivals launched nationwide

The Carnaval Ha Long 2022 with the theme “Ha Long – A wonder that lights up with SEA Games 31” was launched at Ocean Park beach, Bai Chay ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province at 20:00 on April 29 with the participation of more than 2,000 artists.
