Nearly 65,000 visitors attend Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2022
Information was announced by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, on the afternoon of May 1.
The Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2022 was first held, directed by the Hanoi People's Committee, and implemented by the Hanoi Department of Tourism and other units.

The three-day event aims to introduce and promote Hanoi tourism gift products, stimulate domestic tourism "Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam" and recover the capital's tourism activities post-pandemic.
At the same time, the festival contributes to building the image of Hanoi's tourism as ‘A safe, friendly, quality and attractive destination'.
According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the festival has 100 booths participating in the display and introduction of tourist gift products with many unique traditional handicraft villages in the city such as Bat Trang ceramics, silk Van Phuc, Duyen Thai lacquer, Phu Vinh Bamboo and Rattan Village, Chuong Conical Hat Village, and Dinh Cong's silver craft.
Accommodation, travel and transport businesses also introduced a series of special summer tours with attractive promotions. Among them, the highlight is the bicycle tour "Footprints of Bat Trang Ancient Village" launched by the Hanoi Department of Tourism in collaboration with Hanoitourist Travel Company on the morning of April 29, bringing a new experience to visitors. This is one of the 28 outstanding tours of Hanoi responding and ready to serve the 31st SEA Games.
Besides the booths introducing tourist gifts, a series of side events were held during the three days of the festival such as performances of graffiti art, flash mobs, acoustic music and skateboarding, as well as a cycle rickshaw rides around the lake; talk shows involving ca tru (ceremonial singing) performers and artisans of water puppets and paper fans; a coffee tasting event; hands-on experience activities of making children's toys; and a photo exhibition on Hanoi.
