Adapting to reopen tourism activities, the organizations, agencies, businesses and tourist destinations have paid due attention to promoting local tourism with several preferential policies to lure visitors.

Particularly, Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecotourism complex in Son Dong district daily attracts about 1,500 to 2,000 guests on recent weekend.

The management board planned to cooperate with organizations and agencies to launch various events to introduce and promote the culture, local cuisine, tourism sites and landscape in Bac Giang. As schedule, the ticket price will be discounted from 20 to 30 percent on the upcoming Reunification Holiday.

At the weekend, more visitors flocked to popular destinations, landscapes, religious site and entertainment points such as Ven village (Yen The district); Khe Ro (Son Dong district); Cam Son lake (Luc Ngan district); Xuong Giang temple and Da Mai Rose Garden Studio (Bac Giang city); Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Truc Lam Phuong Hoang Monastery and golf course (Yen Dung district); Bo Da pagoda (Viet Yen district) and thousand year old Da huong tree (Lang Giang district).

Complete tourism opening, good control over Covid-19 situation, high rate of third Covid-19 vaccine shot injection make tourism demand by airline surge. Accordingly, the business activities of travel agencies regain full swing. Typically, the number of tourist delegations booking tours and air ticket via Dinh Anh International Travel and Trading Company Limited, Tre Viet International Tourism Investment and Development Company Limited, South Truong Sa Tourism Company Limited sharply increase on this occasion.

At weekend, the price of air ticket, tour, accommodation at hotel and restaurant as well as pick up car goes up 20 to 60 percent against normal day. Even the air ticket seems to double on peak days of May, June and July.

To promote the image and stimulate Bac Giang tourism, in late March and April 2022, the provincial Information and Tourism Promotion Center joined Vietnam International Travel Mart Hanoi 2022, Tourism Festival in Ho Chi Minh city, cultural heritage promotion events and tourism promotion conference in response of national tourism year jointly launched by Quang Nam province and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

At the event, Bac Giang province displayed a booth to introduce tourism potentials, attractive destinations together with provincial specialties while attending forum and dialogue about tourism linkage, recovery and development.

According to Duong Hong Co, Vice Director of Bac Giang provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as schedule in early May, the Department will conduct survey, introduce tourism sites and complexes, fruit growing areas in Tay Yen Tu relic and landscape; organize conference about creating signature tourism product of Bac Giang at Suoi Mo tourism site (Luc Nam district) which expects to welcome many experts, managers and businesses in and outside the province.

In 2022, Bac Giang province strives to welcome more than one million tourist arrivals. In the plan to reopen tourism activities in the province issued in late March 2022 by the provincial People’s Committee (PPC), PPC directed the departments, sectors, localities and relevant agencies to enhance tourism stimulation, draw more visitors, link for cooperation, tourism promotion event on mass media, online channels and social network.

Local authority also instructed and persuaded travel agencies to restructure suitable management to each period of tourism recovery and development; reviewing quality of technical facility and service; investing to improve and upgrade the damaged ones; extending service and technical infrastructure to serve visitors.

The travel enterprises should actively employ, train and nurture tourism human resource to ensure service quality.

39th Bac Giang Newspaper Run: Overcoming difficulties, maintaining tournament quality
