First roof tile and eco museum of Vietnam inaugurated
Cuong is now President of Thach Ban Group with over 50 years of experience in the roof tile production. The museum is located in ecological site with 12 gardens of many rare plants.

Now it is displaying 467 valuable artifacts of 275 samples of various tiles that show Vietnamese tiles under historical periods, tile products of some countries in the world, scientific models of handmade tile production as well as documentaries and images about the development process of Thach Ban Group since 1959.

It is the first private museum in Bac Giang province and also the first tile museum in Vietnam.
At the inauguration ceremony, leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism handed over the operation license to the founder of Thach Mon Trang Tile and Eco Museum.

Speaking at the event, Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Mai Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the effort and enthusiasm of the family in investing and collecting such unique museum in the province. He suggested the Department of Cultural Heritage to further facilitate the museum’s development.
The provincial leader also encouraged Nguyen The Cuong to continue completing relevant formalities and urged local authority to support its operation.

For long term, the competent agencies were directed to cooperate with Thach Mon Trang Museum to research and register to recognize this site as tourism point when all conditions are met.
