Gifts presented to parishes on Christmas occasion

(BGO) - On the occasion of Christmas, representatives of the Committee for Religious Affairs (Department of Home Affairs) and the Committee for Catholic Solidarity of Bac Giang visited and presented gifts to the Catholic parishes of Dai Lam in Tam Di commune and Tien Nha in Tien Hung commune, Luc Nam district. 

The Catholics at these parishes always join hands to build new life, keep strong belief in renovation (or Doi moi) policies of the Party and excitedly prepare for the Christmas.

Leaders of the Committee for Religious Affairs and the Committee for Catholic Solidarity present congratulation flowers to Dai Lam parish.

Representative of the Committee for Religious Affairs asked about living of the Catholics and encouraged the households to proactively conform to the regulations on democracy at the local, keep the solidarity, well fulfil the guidelines and policies of the Party and “be a good Christian is to be a good citizen”.

Besides, he wished the Catholics to have a merry Christmas with happiness, solidarity and safety.

On behalf of the Catholic followers, priest Nguyen Van Tuan, pastor of Tien Nha parish expressed his thanks for attention of the party committees and governments at all levels in the province. The Catholics would continue keeping sense of solidarity to contribute to socio-economic development and movements of the locality.

On this occasion, the Committee for Catholic Solidarity gave flowers and gifts to the parishes.
