Good deed for the poor in Bac Giang on Tet occasion
He handed over 574 Tet gifts to leader of Lang Giang district, each worth 600,000 VND which were later delivered to the poor and near poor family in the area. Also, he urged local authority to organize safe and vibrant event to welcome Lunar New Year holiday and further well implement the social welfare activities.

At the same day, the provincial Women’s Union cooperated with the Women’s Union in Lang Son province to launch programme “Reunited Spring – Tet on bordergate” in 2023 in Mau Son commune, Loc Binh district (Lang Son province).
Within the event, the delegation presented 30 Tet gifts to poor women member and donated amount to build a humanitarian house and 10 standard toilets, totally worth 80 million VND ( 20 million VND was sponsored by Van An Thinh Construction Joint Stock Company in Bac Giang province).
Responding to the programme “Humanitarian Tet holiday in 2023”, the provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) in Bac Giang has mobilized 3,000 gifts in cash and kind with total value of 1.8 billion VND. The provincial RCS is now reviewing and making the list of beneficiaries.
Apart from giving the gift in person at the localities, this year event with hightlight “Humanitarian market” to be held on January 13, 2023 or lunar December 22, 2022 in Viet Yen district with various activities.
The programme (previously known as Tet for the poor and victim of Agent Orange) will last to March 15, 2023.
