Good deed of women entrepreneurs in Luc river for the poor

(BGO) – Luc Nam district is the first localities in Bac Giang province to establish district Women Entrepreneur Club (nowadays Women Entrepreneur Division) since 2002. For 20 years, it has been a shared home to connect members who are good at production, business and active in charity for the community.

Head of the Luc Nam district Women Entrepreneur Division (WED) Doan Thu Hien said the WED establishment satisfied the expectation of female owners of business, cooperative and manufacturing facilities in every aspect of industry, construction, trading and transportation.

The provincial Women Entrepreneur Association congratulates the women entrepreneurs in Luc Nam district on the Vietnam Women’s Day (October 20).

Thanks to the direction and direct assistance of the provincial Women Entrepreneur Association, the WED organizes regular activities via direct and online format (shared groups of Zalo and Facebook) to popularize the information and supporting policies for the business operation, especially taxation, credit capital for expanding the production, business and market.

Promoting the activeness and innovation, many members of the WED boldly expanded the production scale, built effective economic model to earn high revenue, typically Tran Thi Tham, owner of rolled mould steel manufacturing facility; Than Thi Nhung, supplier of beding product; Phung Thi Huyen, owner of transportation facility. Their facilities help created stable jobs to nearly 1,000 labours with average income of 3 to 10 million VND per person per month.

Stable and prosperious business give their chances to donate more for community such as donate to the fund for poor women, the fund to pay tribute to national contributor, fund for the poor…

Amid Covid-19 outbreak in 2021, they voluntarily donated and called on donation from others to present thousands of bottles of water, milk, hand satinizers, medical facemask, food and food stuff among others to the medical workers and people.

Accompanying the district Women’s Association in social security activity, the women entrepreneurs join hands together to call on donation to the campaign “Tet for the poor” so as to present 50 to 100 gifts each worth 300,000 – 500,000 VND in cash and other kind on the New Year occasion.

For 20 years, they have presented total value of nearly 2 billion VND to social welfare activities. Such cosy gifts are highly acknowledged by the authority and people at all stratas.

Wishing to contribute to new style rural building task, in last October, the woman entrepreneurs in Luc Nam district cooperated with the district Women’s Association to donate 500 flower pots and thousands of trees to create flower road for communes on the way to realize new style rural building target.

Several members are pinoneers to implement and call one relatives to donate to various social tasks to encourage the study and talent, fund for the poor. Particularly, Phung Thi Huyen in Binh Minh residential area, owner of Binh Huyen transportation facility in Doi Ngo town shared: “There are many difficult people in this society so I have mobilized a part of my revenue to the charity work for seven years (average of 30 to 40 million VND per year) so as to encourage them”.

In addition to joining in the WED, Phung Thi Huyen is an active member of other charity organizations like Luc Nam Kind Heart Association, 3K Club to sponsor 2 impoverished students at Luc Nam High School.

Chairwoman of provincial Women Entrepreneur Association Nguyen Thi Loan said: “For 20 year operation, the WED has affirmed the role and position of women in modern society who are good at production and business, active in charity as well as fulfil the task to build a happy and prosperious family. Acknowledging such achievement, the WED and many members are honored by the provincial Women Entrepreneur Association and Women’s Union”.
