Hiep Hoa reviews people with close contact to Covid-19 suspected cases

(BGO) – According to the Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control (Steering Board) in Hiep Hoa district (Bac Giang province), the district on May 1 localized, traced and applied home isolation to 5 households in the villages of San, Nguyen and Chau Lo in Mai Dinh commune after their close contact to Covid-19 suspected case.     

Particularly, Nguyen Xuan Duc (born in 1977) in Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province is driver for Chinese expert in Vinatop Company Limited in Binh Xuyen Industrial Park. On April 28, the Chinese man returned to his country and tested positive to SARS-CoV-2 on April 30.

The Steering Board in Mai Dinh commune hands over the Decision of home isolation to Covid-19 suspected cases.

Duc visited his relatives in Mai Dinh commune and had meals with some local people on April 30 noon and afternoon then came back Vinh Phuc province.

Right after receiving the information of Chinese expert as a Covid-19 patient, the Steering Board in Hiep Hoa district and communes actively reviewed and localized then defined 5 people in the villages of San, Nguyen and Chau Lo (Mai Dinh commune) having close contact to Duc.

In the morning of May 1, the competent force set up a sign informing about the isolation condition at the gate of these families from May 1- 15 so that other people could avoid close contact and supervise together with the authority. Meanwhile, members of the Steering Board is assigned to keep regular contact to these cases to know about their health condition, support them to buy food and necessities during the time.

As of 5pm on May 1, Hiep Hoa reviewed and ordered 2 cases to isolate at the provincial concentrated site and 78 cases to isolate at home to self monitor the health condition.

To prevent the disease infection, the Steering Board in the district continues requesting the communes, towns, organizations, units, enterprises and educational facilities to communicate to the officials, public servants and people to restrict going to other provinces amid the complicated development of the pandemic as well as enhance the preventive measures in line with the recommendation from the Health Ministry.

To active prepare for the risk of disease outbreak again, the Health Division in the district has cooperated with the competent agencies to consult the district People’s Committee to reactivate the concentrated isolation site at second facility of Air Force and Air Defense Technical College in Ngoc Son commune.
