Hoa Binh promotes image of Cao Phong oranges

The seventh Cao Phong Orange Festival and Cao Phong District Trade Fair 2022 officially opened in the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh on November 25, offering an opportunity to promote the image of Cao Phong oranges and other key agricultural products of the locality.

The event features more than 200 pavilions, including 70 selling typical oranges, tangerines and pomelos and 120 trade booths introducing handicrafts from traditional trade villages, products and services from travel companies, cuisine, and products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme.

In addition, visitors have the chance to enjoy cultural, arts and sport activities including folk games, singing contest, ecotourism, and traditional food and drinks.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Cao Phong District People’s Committee Quach Van Ngoan said Cao Phong Orange Festival aims to promote, protect and develop the brand of Cao Phong oranges.

The event offers an opportunity to boost economic and trade promotion, investment attraction and linkages among northern mountainous provinces to promote agricultural products, including specialties of the province and Cao Phong District, he added.

Cao Phong District has synchronously carried out measures and closely followed the orientation of agricultural restructure in association with the construction of new-style rural areas.

The seventh Cao Phong Orange Festival and Cao Phong District Trade Fair 2022 will conclude on December 2.

Luc Ngan welcomes nearly 25,000 visitors on orange and pomelo season
(BGO) – Amid the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic, nearly 25,000 visitors have flocked to enjoy orange and pomelo orchards in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province since late October 2021, reported the district Division of Culture and Information.

(BGO) - This year, total productivity of orange and pomelo in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) hits over 60,000 tonnes. Taking advantages of favorable weather condition and good management of Covid-19 pandemic, traders in many places come to the district to buy orange and pomelo to consume near and far. Together with many specialties and famous landscapes, several tours have been linked to welcome visitors, making the fruit hub more hustle and bustle.
Luc Ngan pomelos, oranges sold well
(BGO) - Taking advantage of favorable weather and the Covid-19 epidemic brought under control, at this time, traders from many places come to Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) to buy oranges and pomelos for consumption. Many businesses, cooperatives and gardeners have developed and connected tours and routes to welcome visitors in order to make the Luc Ngan sweet fruit area more vibrant.
Bac Giang’s orange and pomelo season welcomes visitors
(BGO) – Bac Giang province has more than 10,750 ha of citrus fruit trees with total productivity of nearly 85,000 tonnes per year mostly in the districts of Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Yen The and Tan Yen, including nearly 5,200 ha of orange, over 5,560 ha of pomelo. The province has held conference to promote the consumption of orange, pomelo and key farm produce to expand the market while introducing several experimental tours in Luc Ngan district to welcome visitors to citrus fruit season.
Bac Giang opens markets to consume orange, pomelo and key farm produce
(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) on November 11 chaired and cooperated with the Ministries of Industry and Trade (MoIT), Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to launch teleconference about consumption of orange, pomelo, local key and signature farm produce with ten bridge points  in Bac Giang and major one in Luc Ngan district. It was live on Bac Giang Television chanel.
