Industrial production value surges 28 percent in first 6 months
BAC GIANG- According to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province’s industrial production value in June and the first 6 months continues highly increasing compared to the same period in 2023 thanks to business recovery and stable operation especially foreign direct investment (FDI) sector.
The industrial production value of Bac Giang province (actual price) in June reached over 67.13 trillion VND (2.64 billion USD), up 10.1 percent against last month and the figure in the first 6 months is estimated at some 315.1 trillion VND (12.37 billion USD), a surge of 28 percent compared to the same period, reaching 47.3 percent of the year plan.

Of which, the state-owned sector is estimated to gain over 5.91 trillion VND (232 million USD) while the FDI sector is expected to reach some 275.34 trillion VND (10.81 billion USD), up 29.8 percent, reaching 52.2 percent of the year target.
The above figures demonstrate that industrial production of the province retains its growth momentum despite facing numerous challenges due to impacts of the world and regional economic crisis.
The high increase in industrial production value has been gained when some big corporations in the province expanded production and came into stable operation, particularly Hana Micron Vina Company Limited, Luxshare - ICT Vietnam Company Limited, subsidiaries of HonHai Technology Group and solar cell manufacturers.
Electricity supply in the industrial parks have been guaranteed for production and business activities.

The benefits of green transformation in industrial parks are both huge and lasting, according to leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. However, in the short term, many challenges and obstacles have meant the transition process has not been as strong as expected.
