The internship program in Israel has been carried out for 5 years by BAFU in collaboration with some enterprises. In order to take part in the program, students have to meet the criteria of health, academic results and English proficiency with the initial fee of 30 million VND (1,300 USD). Annually, the university sends about 10 to 25 students to attend this internship program for 10 or 11 months.
Joining this program, the students had opportunities to study and gain experiences in the farms. After paying studying and living costs, each intern can save 8 to 15 million VND (347- 650 USD) per month to send back to their family as a saving for startup.
According to, Ph.D. Nguyen Tuan Diep, BAFU’s Vice Rector, the number of students applying for the program is increasing. The knowledge gained from a country of the highly advanced agricultural sector will help young students to develop startup initiatives aiming at building big-scale and effective farming models.
