Japanese doctors provide medical examination and gifts to victims of Agent Orange

(BGO) – A delegation of Japanese doctors on October 19 – 20 visited
the northern province of Bac Giang to provide medical examination and present
gifts to local victims of Agent Orange (AO victims).

The gift was totally worth 43 million VND (over 1,800 USD), including medicine, rehabilitation machine
It proved for the humanitarian and good deeds from the Japanese doctors, indicating their hope to care for the health and gradually ease the pain of AO victims, helping them overcome the difficulties to integrate into the community.
'There is still room for the U.S. government and American people to understand the impact of Agent Orange on Vietnamese people.'
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will support the construction of 300 houses in the central provinces of Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen and Quang Nam, which were seriously affected by typhoon Damrey in 2017.
(BGO) – A donation campaign was launched by the joint collaboration of Bac Giang Branch of Hoa Huong Duong (Sunflower) and Bong Hong Tim (Violet Rose) Volunteer Clubs and Son Dong Support Team to share with the difficulties of the flood victims in Ha Giang province at the end of June.
The Vietnamese Government on October 2 decided to offer US$100,000 in aid relief to help the Indonesian Government and people overcome consequences of recent earthquakes and tsunami.
Reliefs are on way to the most far-flung villages in Ha Giang Province.
