Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong witnesses Van Phu Invest Joint Stock Company to hand over the donated amount for the provincial fight against Covid-19.

On May 12 evening, the provincial Center of Disease Control received 100 million VND donated by Party Division of An Khanh Bac Giang Thermal Power Joint Stock Company (under Party Committee of provincial Business Block).

On behalf of provincial leaders, PPC Permanent Vice Chairman Mai Son praised and highly spoke of the assistance and support from the business to officials and health workers at the Center who are fighting against the disease days and nights at the frontline.

He hoped in the upcoming time the Party Committee of provincial Business Block will continue calling for various donations of cash, material, medical supplies... from the lower units for Covid-19 prevention and control.

At the same day, representative of Humanitarian Fund of Bac Giang provincial Businesses handed over 50 million VND to the provincial General Hospital to support Covid-19 patients under treatment here as well as the task of disease prevention and control.

The amount was sponsored by Tan Thinh Construction Co.,LTd (Bac Giang city). The General Hospital now treats 39 patients who tested positive to SARS-CoV-2. The sponsored amount will be presented to patients (one million VND for each) and used to buy medical supplies.

The provincial Center of Disease Control receives the donation from Party Division of An Khanh Bac Giang Thermal Power Joint Stock Company.

In addition, BGG Bac Giang Garment Corporation Joint Stock Company (BG Garment) and Thanh Bac Trading and Service Joint Stock Company (Thanh Bac) on May 12 handed over some medical tools and face masks to the provincial Public Security.

Particularly, BG Garment presented 5 sets of computers, printers and 2,500 face masks with total value of 70 million VND while Thanh Bac gifted 20 ink boxes for printers worth 10 million VND to the police force to support the common task against the disease.

As of 11 am on May 12, the education sector in Luc Nam district called for donation among the officials, teachers and people to support 6 disease hit communes of Phuong Son, Chu Dien, Bao Son, Bao Dai, Kham Lang and Tam Di with total amount of nearly 120 million VND and many necessities.
