Labours at Bac Giang industrial parks increase over 1,400 people

(BGO) – Since early May, some businesses have had new orders and scaled up so they have employed more labours.

There are nearly 160,000 labours actually working at the provincial industrial parks, up over 1,400 people over last month. About 2,000 people stay at the companies (mostly at the dormitories of Hon Hai Technology Group). 31 percent of total employees are from other provinces while local labours account for 69 percent. The province has about 6,130 foreign labours.

According to the provincial Industrial Park Management Board, local enterprises have recently obtained new orders, recovered the difficulties to scale up the production and expand market for product consumption. So they need to employ more workers.

At the same time, local competent agencies focused on reviewing the production and business, import and export as well as the difficulties and obstacles of the enterprises in the industrial parks then suggesting solution to remove them and support the companies to stabilize the production and business.

So far, more than 400 businesses have operated in the provincial industrial parks. Many foreign direct investment businesses maintain good growth rate like companies under Hon Hai Technology Group, solar panel manufacturers, mechanical and processing producers among others.

(BGO) – 3,600 labours in Bac Giang province have been consulted and employed to work for companies in and outside the province at 16 job transaction sessions launched by provincial Job Service Center (Center) in the first quarter of this year (accounting for 21 percent of yearly plan).
