(BGO) - The Latter- Day Saint Charities (LDSC) headed by Steven Holt paid a working visit to the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs of Bac Giang province (DOFA) on November 20. The delegation was welcomed by Nguyen Quang Tuan, DOFA’s Deputy Director and related divisions.

At the meeting, Steven Holt handed the letter of donation to Nguyen Quang Tuan, DOFA’s Deputy Director regarding their support to build adequate latrines at Dong Viet and Dong Lo junior high schools in Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa districts. Besides, he expected to continue receiving collaboration of Bac Giang DOFA in carrying out surveys and implementing their activities effectively in the province.

Nguyen Quang Tuan expressed his thanks to LDSC for their donation to the province. He added Bac Giang province pays due attention to enhancing facilities for school hygiene. Thus, DOFA will join hands with related agencies and localities for effective implementation of LDSC’s aid resources.

On the same day, LDSC paid field visits to Dong Viet and Dong Lo junior high schools in Yen Dung and Hiep Hoa districts. In addition, they discussed signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to implement this donation with the people’s committee of these districts.
