Lobectomy of lung transferred to Bac Giang provincial General Hospital

(BGO) – Under the
support of Hanoi E Hospital, the Department of Chest Surgery Orthopaedy – Burn (General Hospital in the
northern province of Bac Giang) has
received the lobectomy of lung in October 2019 in line with the satellite
hospital proposal.
The first patient undergone successful surgery was Hoang Van Khoi (79 years old) in Nenh town (Viet Yen district).

He smoked for years then suffered from prolong pain on his left chest and sometimes productive cough.
After examination and testing, the doctor diagnosed Khoi has a tumour on the lobe under the lung then requested to cut it out together with lymph node dissection. The patient is now in stable condition after the surgery.

– Tran Van Hau (born in 1981) in Thanh Son town, Son Dong district (Bac Giang
province) was taken to the Emergency Department of the provincial General
Hospital at around 10 am on June 21 with his right hand severely crushed.

April 2015. Over the past over 4 years,
the hospital’s doctors have successfully performed surgery on 169 children
diagnosed with ventricular septal defect, atrial septal defect and patent
ductus arteriosus.
