Currently, the flowering rate reaches over 90 percent, with good growth and development. Local farmers are taking measures to care for the lychee to bear fruits.

This year, the province continues to direct the production in 19 growing areas that were granted codes in 2020; while reviewing and expanding a number of cultivation areas, with the aim of increasing the total area of lychee for export to Japan to about 130 hectares. Currently, the Plant Protection Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is making evaluations and appraisals to issue more cultivation area codes in the near future.
