(BGO) – Bang Cong village in Kien Thanh commune (Luc Ngan district) was the first locality in Bac Giang province to trial home quarantine for F1 cases. To date, this method has proved its effectiveness, helping open a new way in Covid-19 prevention and control.

After getting approval from the Sterring Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control (Steering Board) in Luc Ngan district, Kien Thanh communal authority piloted to quarantine F1 cases at home as long as the disease preventive measures were qualified.

Hoang Thi Khuyen in Bang Cong village became F1 after contacting with 5 family members of father, mother, husband and two children who are positive to SARS-CoV-2. The Steering Board in Kien Thanh commune trialled to quarantine her at home.

Khuyen committed to take home isolation and asked the public Covid-19 team in Bang Cong village to lock the gate of her family. During this period, she always received kind attention and assistance from the public Covid-19 team in the village and People’s Committee in Kien Thanh commune.

Similar to Khuyen, Le Van Tru in the same locality had close contact to his father, a Covid-19 patient. He was allowed to take medical home quarantine by the communal Steering Board because his condition met the disease preventive measures. In the self isolation time, he voluntarily locked the gate and refused to contact with any one.
